Doctober is a month-long documentary film series at the Pickford, Whatcom County’s only independent movie house, and features films and appearances by some of the country’s most innovative independent filmmakers. This year’s films include Sundance selection “The Order of Myths,” Kent McKenzie’s 1961 “The Exiles,” presented by Sherman Alexie, the locally produced "American Carver," and Bill Maher’s “Religulous.”
